Sea Beans & Steamed Halibut

1 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 shallots, minced
1/2 red pepper, sliced thin
4 Tbsp. black bean sauce
1 lb. halibut fillet
1 cup sea beans
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 green onions, slivered

Brush oil on a medium skillet and sauté halibut on both sides quickly. Blanch sea beans and add to skillet with minced shallots and sliced red pepper. Cook for several minutes and then place halibut on vegetable bed and add black bean sauce, soy, and 2-3 Tbsp. hot water and place lid on skillet for 3-4 minutes.

Serve braised fish on a hot platter with vegetables and pan sauce, garnishing with green onions.
